Brecken is very stinky right now. I asked, "Did you poop?" He immediately replied, "no...." I asked if I should check, and he said, "no....." Then pretty soon, he brought me his toy truck and said, "Momma. Truck poop." I asked to make sure I heard right, and he confirmed it- the smell I am smelling came from the truck. Plastic trucks poop. Good to know. :)
Off to change a diaper...

Aaahhh - don't you love the things their little minds come up with? They crack me up sometimes :)
And to answer your question...the school district only has half-day kindergarten, so they don't have time for recess daily. In fact, I think during the whole year I taught kindergarten, I took my kids outside maybe 5 times...honestly, you just don't have the time, which is a shame...especially in a district where kindergartners only get specials once every other week...and many of those kids went to a structured daycare program during their other half-day...so, needless to say, we tried to make our indoor, learning activities as structured as possible.
Teri, I figured it was half-day kindergarten after I wrote that. We only have full day (every day) here, so I have to remember that other places have half-day. :)
