It's been forever since I've posted anything! We've been pretty busy. Josh and I are on Spring Break this week (and it's been MUCH NEEDED!!). We left last Friday to go to Gillette for the weekend. On Monday, we had our first dr. appt., which I'll get to in a minute. Since we've been back home, we've been remodeling our master bathroom. We put in some new tile in the shower, took out the vanity so we can put in a pedestal sink, and once we got the vanity out, realized there's no tile under there, so we had to completely re-do the floor, too. I say WE in all this, but really, it's been Josh. He doesn't want me smelling fumes or lifting. He's so great. Tonight we'll try to get the walls painted and the floor in over the sub-floor Josh installed this afternoon after pulling out all the tiles. Poor Josh is very sore tonight!!
Now for the doctor's appt. We got to have an ultrasound done, and I'm posting pictures up. The baby is just under 2 inches long. :) The heartbeat was 180 bpm, and everything looks great! We go again on April 17th, but won't have another ultrasound done until I hit about 20 weeks. I'm at just over 11 now.
I tried to post the ultrasound picture, but it won't work for some reason. I'll have to try again later.

boring, long night.
Since I'm stuck at work until 8:00 tonight for Parent/Teacher conferences, I thought now would be a great time to update the blog. It's 6:43 right now. Conferences started almost 3 hours ago and I've seen a whole 2 parents. It's always the parents of the good kids that come to visit you, never the parents you NEED to talk to. Like the mother of one of my jr. high kids, who, out of 17 assignments for 3rd quarter, has 11 0's. That's right, ELEVEN 0's. Now, when I was a kid, NOT turning in my homework was never an option for me. I never even thought about it. Thank you for raising me right, Mom and Dad!
The worst part about this is that I won't get home until almost 8:30 tonight, meaning I'll miss most of the Amazing Race. Grr. And then I have to get up and go to school again tomorrow. Thursday night, another night of conferences. Good thing we have Friday off to compensate!

Baby Hannah
I mentioned earlier that my great friend from college, Beth, has a little 11 month old girl who was born with Down Syndrome. They found out a couple weeks ago that Hannah has Leukemia. Please keep Hannah, her parents Beth and Jerry, her brother Colton, and the rest of their extended family in your thoughts and prayers! Here is a website for those of you that want to see some great pictures of Hannah and the family, and keep updated about her condition:

She's a strong baby girl with an even stronger family, so I know they will pull through this with flying colors!

8 weeks
8 weeks today! The Zantac and Sea Bands seemed to help today. I felt better and had more energy than I've had in quite a while.
Here's what I look like at 8 weeks:
It's all belly, no bloat anymore! I feel big from the front, and I also noticed today how much I've gained on my sides! I now have "fat" on my rib cage through my hips, which I've never had before. I haven't gained any weight though, I've actually lost it. Weight at 8 weeks: 118
Here's another picture of our baby's first shoes. I bought these little tiny golf shoes for Josh about a year ago and we can now get them out!!
