Since I'm stuck at work until 8:00 tonight for Parent/Teacher conferences, I thought now would be a great time to update the blog. It's 6:43 right now. Conferences started almost 3 hours ago and I've seen a whole 2 parents. It's always the parents of the good kids that come to visit you, never the parents you NEED to talk to. Like the mother of one of my jr. high kids, who, out of 17 assignments for 3rd quarter, has 11 0's. That's right, ELEVEN 0's. Now, when I was a kid, NOT turning in my homework was never an option for me. I never even thought about it. Thank you for raising me right, Mom and Dad!
The worst part about this is that I won't get home until almost 8:30 tonight, meaning I'll miss most of the Amazing Race. Grr. And then I have to get up and go to school again tomorrow. Thursday night, another night of conferences. Good thing we have Friday off to compensate!
