chicken and nanny

Every single day since August, when Brecken started daycare, we ask him what we have for lunch.  And every single day since August, the answer has always been "chicken and nanny!"  (nanny means candy.)  Every day.  I KNOW that's not the answer because Amy always tells us what he has for lunch.  And it's never chicken and nanny. :)

I thought after 2 weeks off at Christmas, he might forget about that answer.  But Jan. 5, first day back, I asked what he had for lunch.  "Chicken and nanny!" was his answer.  Nope, he didn't forget!

You should hear him say "candy cane".  It's so funny.  "Mommy, I want a nanny cane!"  :)

Cute. I have a little girl in my daycare that tells her mom we had chicken nuggets and french fries for lunch every day! We don't. But it's funny how kids think!

well... this is sad...but mine actually does eat a corn dog, nearly every single day! At home. At least he's eating!

Not sad at all, Stacey J! We go through a LOT of chicken nuggets in our house. Those and hot dogs are the only meat he'll eat. So if Brecken would eat a corn dog every single day, I'd let him, because like you, at least he's eating!!!!

The "nanny" is more what I laugh about. :)

The other Stacey- I asked Brecken the other day after he gave me that answer if he ever gets tired of chicken and nanny. He said, in a VERY annoyed voice, "YES!!!!!!!!" like, "Make that woman stop feeding me that!!!"
