friends

Brecken made a new friend while playing outside tonight. Our neighbors' 4 year old granddaughter from Laramie is visiting. She started waving and saying hi, and boy, did Brecken get excited! He said, "Mom! Somone's talking to me!!" He ran over and they were instant friends. They played bikes on our driveway, played in the sandbox in the back yard next door, played more bikes, the little girl (Cody, but I'm not sure if that's how she spells it) even asked him if he wanted to spend the night with her. HA! I told her that Brecken probably wouldn't like that because he was a little young still, but maybe in a couple years. :) When it was time for her to go eat dinner, she and Brecken gave each other the nicest, longest hug and blew kisses to each other and said "See you tomorrow!" It was dang cute.

We've been to Gillette and back since my last post. I'll try to blog about that trip tomorrow. Blogger has been weird the past couple days so I haven't gotten a chance.
