OK, so maybe he is.
Note to self- do not eat another one of Brecken's chips without asking. Dinner tonight was a Mexican-type dish that tastes fantastic when scooped up with tortilla chips. I took one of Brecken's and ate it with gusto, because that usually makes him laugh and then take one himself and eat it. Anything to get the kid to EAT, right? Apparently it wasn't funny tonight. He BURST into tears. Huge ol' crocodile tears. "My chip! I want it!" he kept wailing. It got to the point where he had to go sit with Daddy in his chair and snuggle and calm down. "My chip! I want it!" Josh kept telling him, "Buddy, Mommy didn't know you wanted that one so she ate it. It's in her belly, so we can't get it back." Man, if looks could kill.... Brecken made me feel incredibly guilty!! TEN MINUTES of crying. It was quite something. We had a whole bag full of chips, I gave him some of mine, he had a million on his plate, but he wanted that ONE. The one that was in my belly.
Nope, not dramatic at all. :)

Aw man :( Things like that just make you feel so low...something similar happened w/ a daycare kid once and I wanted to dig a hole and crawl in it :(
I think that when I would break out "it's nice to share" talk, lol. Poor thing. They get upset over the craziest things!
That, coupled with the fact that he feels like CRUD, makes things "exciting" around here. :) He's actually VERY good at sharing. He loves to share. He will ask to bring things from our house to Amy's house, just to share. He'll bring me snacks and say, "I share with you!" So I don't think that was the issue here, luckily! :)
Kids are just funny that way. A daycare kid I watch goes through the same routine every morning...his mom and I ask him if he is going to close the door for us as she leaves, he says 'NO' forcefully and I say, 'Then if you say NO, I am going to close it and you won't get to', he still looks away, so I close the door and then he starts screaming and crying 'I wanted to close the door'. It's kind of annoying at this point, but the same concept. Trust me, he won't remember the chip in a couple of days cause it will be something else! :)
Poor baby... I hope he gets better soon!
Yeah- fever and green snot and goopy eyes popped up this weekend... all part of the virus but enough to make me crazy!
